About Us

Based in Syracuse, NY, Golden Boy was founded in 2024 by husband and wife team, Dakota & Paige Wong, and is a namesake to our two yellow labs, Odin & Gus. We found our passion in event planning during the process of planning our own wedding, by ourselves, completely DIY style. Maybe I’m biased, but I’d say we did one heck of a job.

When we’re not planning events, you can find us out on a golf course or sitting around the fire with our dogs. Dakota has served in US Army for nearly 12 years and Paige works in dentistry. After creating our dream wedding, we want to give others the feeling of seeing their dream event come to life.

We know firsthand how chaotic and stressful planning any event can be and want to ease that stress for our hosts. We aim to provide the highest quality planning and coordination, as well as unique rentals customized to your personal event needs.
